Had the same problem with my Google G1 phone; which of course, worked on my Netbook. Darn thing will talk to my Kindle, a portable drive and countless sticks, but not my Zune or Phone.

Many next steps. Perhaps Mr. Nova to bring over his laptop and we’ll guest it to his system and see if we have any updates pushed from his laptop??! Although, the netbook should do that.

Well, I guess this is something for Microsoft to figure out. Personally, I have seen John’s computer issues. I have even helped him some trying to make his Zune work on Windows 7. However, we have not yet had success. Now my story; My 30GB Zune works great on Windows 7. I have it installed on Windows 7 Home premium 64bit and Ultimate 64 bit. Everything works for me. I will try to help get Johns’ up and running. But, for two people who have the same exact processor and amount of memory in their quad-core Intel computers things sure are different.

Had the same thing. I eventually somehow got the drivers ‘installed’ again, but I kept getting an error saying it couldn’t update my Zune (120gb GoW Edition) because there wasn’t any HD space… even though I’d formatted it twice to make sure. I had to send it in.
